2. Change the unfinished mouldings to white painted mouldings

• Acclimation: Let the pine planks sit in the room where they will be installed for 48 to 72 hours. This allows the wood to adjust to your home's humidity level, preventing joint movement later.

• Secure Attachment: For a rock-solid, professional install, apply a bead of high-quality construction adhesive (like Liquid Nails) to the back of the planks, then secure them with a brad nailer through the tongue at a 45-degree angle.

• Sealing for Bathrooms: Pine holds up beautifully in high-moisture spaces! If installing in a bathroom or kitchen, make sure to seal all sides of the wood with a moisture-resistant polyurethane or mold-resistant paint primer.
